ExperimentationGolden Lion Tamarins As a first stage of class, we were tasked with experimenting with materials such as firehose and bamboo in pairs. Designing without knowing what our results would be used for, our end product was chosen for the Golden Lion Tamarin exhibit as a perch and for feeding.

IndividualSaki, Titti, and Howler Monkeys One of our two part finals for the class, I was tasked with individually creating an enrichment device for an enclosure of monkeys. The concept was a perch that had hanging hooks, with individual smaller modules that keepers could take on and off for whatever enrichement activity they wanted to do with the monkeys.

Unfortunately the project was taken inside due to cold weather for the monkeys and was unable to be photographed within the enclosure.
TeamOssabaw Island HogsThe other half of the final was a team project. Our animals were two Ossabaw Island Hogs, Peach and Pecan. We built a rotating puzzle feeder with attachment points for textures panels for the hogs to rub against.
